What It Is

A guided, in-person workshop designed for students in cosmetology, nursing, and other care-based programs who are learning how to show up for others—often without being taught how to care for themselves.

This session offers practical, accessible tools to help students reset, reflect, and decompress in real time.

What Makes This Different

This is not a lecture.

Students are guided through simple, effective practices they can actually use in their daily lives, including:

  • Write – low-pressure journaling prompts
  • Do – hands-on, calming activities (such as simple sewing or tactile work)
  • Reflect – intuitive tools like oracle cards for self-awareness
  • Reset – quick nervous system practices for high-stress moments

The Experience

Each session includes:

  • A short guided reset to release stress
  • A choice-based decompression activity (write, do, or reflect)
  • Time to slow down and reconnect
  • A guided open conversation where students can ask honest questions about:
    • burnout
    • boundaries
    • work environments
    • life outside of school

Students are not required to share—but are given the space if they want to.

Why This Matters

Students entering care-based professions are often:

  • emotionally overwhelmed
  • overstimulated
  • unsure how to separate their energy from others

This workshop gives them simple tools to come back to themselves, again and again.
