Creative Decompression Workshop
What It Is
Creative Decompression is a guided workshop designed for anyone feeling overwhelmed, creatively blocked, disconnected, or simply in need of a reset.
What Makes This Different
This is not a lecture.
Participants are guided through simple, effective practices they can actually use in their daily lives, including:
- Write – low-pressure journaling prompts
- Do – hands-on, calming activities (such as simple sewing or tactile work)
- Reflect – intuitive tools like oracle cards for self-awareness
- Reset – quick practical ways to come back to yourself when you’re feeling overwhelmed
The Experience
Each session includes:
- A reflective arrival activity to help participants pause, settle in, and reconnect with the present moment
- A choice-based decompression activity (write, do, or reflect)
- Time to slow down and reconnect
- An open discussion about creativity, overwhelm, self-care, intuition, and the challenges of modern life. Think of it as a “ask anything” and let’s see what we come up with collectively.
Participants are not required to share—but are given the space if they want to.
Why This Matters
Modern life asks a lot of us. We spend our days caring for others, meeting deadlines, solving problems, and moving from one responsibility to the next. Over time, we can lose touch with our creativity, intuition, and sense of self.
Creative Decompression is a guided workshop designed to help you slow down, reconnect, and create space to hear your own inner voice again.
Through reflection prompts, simple creative exercises, journaling, mindfulness practices, and optional oracle card exploration, participants are invited to step out of autopilot and into a more intentional relationship with themselves.
No artistic experience is required. No writing experience is required. There is nothing to perform and nothing to get right.
This is a space to pause, reflect, explore, and reconnect.
Ideal for:
• Individuals seeking a personal reset
• Community groups
• Wellness events
• Creative gatherings
• Educators and caregivers
• Teams experiencing stress or burnout
• Anyone looking for a meaningful moment of reflection and renewal
Each workshop includes guided reflection, creative exploration, community discussion, and practical tools participants can use in their everyday life.
